Bring iconic Scandinavian design into your home with this rare 1960s Roundette dining set by Hans Olsen for Frem Røjle, Denmark. Loved by collectors and design enthusiasts, the Roundette is celebrated for its elegant curves and ingenious space-saving construction: all four sculptural chairs slide perfectly beneath the tabletop, creating one of the most recognizable silhouettes of Danish Mid-Century Modern design. The tabletop features a stunning bookmatched rosewood veneer, where carefully mirrored veneer leaves create a beautifully symmetrical grain pattern. This level of craftsmanship is a hallmark of quality Danish cabinetmaking and gives the table exceptional visual depth and warmth. The tabletop has been carefully refreshed with a very light sanding, preserving the original veneer while removing the old worn finish. It has then been treated with three thin coats of Liberon Finishing Oil, followed by a hand-burnished finish, enhancing the natural beauty of the rosewood while maintaining an authentic satin appearance. The original four-legged chairs, upholstered in a light grey/beige fabric, tuck seamlessly beneath the table, making this set perfect for apartments, studios, or any space where both style and practicality are appreciated. Table has a leaf insert in the middle and when extended can seat 6 people comfortably.
