Raku pockets. Raku, short for the japanese term raku-yaki, is the result of an enamelling technique developed in 16th-century japan. It is mainly related to the manufacture of bowls for the tea ceremony. A stronger chamotté sandstone is used because the parts must withstand large temperature differences. Beautiful room with coppery touches. Lacks at the edge inherent in cooking.
