Large office bench in the Louis XIII style, 19th century, with six dark solid wood legs turned in a beaded design (stacked spools), characteristic of this style. The rectangular frame in dark wood shows an old patina with visible signs of wear on the chassis. The seat is currently covered with a temporary fabric secured with black metal upholstery nails all around. The underside reveals a traditional structure of jute webbing and wooden cross supports, indicating period upholstery construction. A definitive reupholstery is to be expected to fully enhance the piece – this intervention can be carried out on request by our workshops. Dimensions: H. 45 cm, L. 165 cm. Weight: 20 kg.
