Terracotta pot with lid

Toupine: glazed terracotta jar from the beginning of the century of provençal origin. This was used to preserve melted butter or lard but also as a jar to preserve foods such as meat in salt. The interior is also glazed. Beautiful decorative object of yellow ochre color typical of the luberon. No shine or felure just the patina of time.
