Large Empori Design Table or Floor Lamp – Hand-Blown Glass. Beautiful large design table or floor lamp from the Empori collection, made from distinctive hand-blown glass. The lamp has an impressive, sculptural presence and is truly unique due to its traditional craftsmanship. On the underside, it is clearly visible that the glass was made using a pontil, a characteristic feature of hand-blown glass production. The striking dark line has been applied by hand inside the glass. Small imperfections in the line, together with the gently wavy upper edge, are characteristic of the artisanal production process. As a result, no two lamps from this series are exactly alike. The Empori collection has been out of production for many years and is now rarely offered for sale, making this an interesting piece for collectors and enthusiasts of distinctive design and handcrafted glass.
