Vintage mid century abstract framed oil painting - purple abstraction

A visually striking abstract composition exploring form, shape, line and colour, rendered in oil. Painted on a sheet on canvas, it has been affixed to a purple backing card, providing a unique setting and accentuating the colours within the painting. It is housed in very complementary light wood frame. Both painting and frame are in good vintage condition. The frame has some minor scuffing. The painting is glazed, I.e. There is a sheet of glass between the frame and the artwork. Size: 36 X 46 cm (including frame).
