Solid wood sideboard

This piece of furniture is very special. So its renovation was done in this spirit😀 It was stripped, stripped (goodbye stapled wallpaper), treated entirely twice, reinforced with hardener in the galleries of the little beasts, then the biggest holes were filled. Then for the finishing touches; natural wood effect paint for the beech top, very damaged it still has some marks despite a careful renovation. The doors and sides are in mahogany I think (magnificent shades of brown and red) and pine. The most beautiful parts have remained natural and the rest has been re-enhanced with a blue oxide color. The details of the wood have been highlighted with a rich gold in order to create a reminder with the period hardware (very well recovered). The handles have been changed. All the natural wood, both inside and out, has been maintained with a mixture of turpentine and linseed oil. For this, the piece of furniture should not be in a room that is too humid. Dimensions: 126.5 long by 52.5 wide. Depth for the board. 93 cm high. Drawers: 42*43 cm. Low interior: 30 cm above the board and 34 cm below.
