Baumann armchair model 280 circa 1959

Vintage baumann armchair, 1959. The 280 armchair is a creation of w bauman editions. It is a small armchair with simple lines. It is lightweight, space-saving, and comfortable. It adapts particularly well to the restricted dimensions of modern buildings. The principle of its construction is very simple. A seat and a backrest form the body. They are fixed by four bolts to two "arm legs." these serve as both a base and an armrest thanks to the rounded upper part. Its "arm legs" are made of varnished molded wood. The model presented bears some signs of age and some differences in the color of the upholstery (see photos). Attribution: they can be found in photos in the 1959 baumann factory catalog.
