Description
The nine dessert plates are in good condition, no accidents, no cracks or chips. However, even if it seems that they have been used very little, they are old and have some irregularities, which are, for the most part, very slight manufacturing defects. On the outer edges we can sometimes see the marks left by the metal claws that were used to hold the plates during the enameling process. The color of the stencil decoration varies slightly from one to another, depending on the "bath" of color that was used. The plates were handmade by specialized workers, in a very artisanal way, and are therefore not all exactly identical. The plates are all marked on the back with the earthenware stamp, in black ink. They date from the 1940s, and this service with its light frieze, typical of the art-deco style, will once again find its place today effortlessly in a contemporary and elegant interior. The background enamel is white.
