Antique Asian brass planter – Relief bird decoration

Very beautiful antique brass planter with Asian decoration, richly worked in relief. The body is adorned with an elegant design of birds among branches and plant motifs, set against a finely chiselled background. It features two large pierced and ornate handles decorated with dragons and foliage, as well as a cut-out upper border. The whole piece rests on four decorative feet. There is a mark under the base. Overall good condition, with patina and visible signs of age and use as shown in the photos.
