Pair of low chairs called "la cachette" in oak, 1960s/70s These seats come from the residence la cachette, located in the Les Arcs 1600 ski resort in the French Alps. Charlotte Perriand, famous French architect and designer, led the creation of the Les Arcs ski resort from 1967 to 1989. She was responsible for the town planning and architecture of the buildings, as well as the interior design and furniture . At the time, very large buildings were created, with a large number of apartments, including a residence called La Cachette, which has now become a luxury hotel. These heaters come from this building and were present in the apartments. I oak structures have been carefully sanded to remove worn varnish and then oiled for better natural protection. The cushions have been completely redone with new foam and 100% pure wool textile. The files are easily removable to save space during transport. (the price is for the pair) l: 68cm d: 75cm h: 81cm.
