Pair of Italian mid-century pencil-reed rattan planters attributed to Vivai Del Sud

Exceptional pair of 1970s Italian modernist planters. Handcrafted with tightly wrapped, stacked pencil-reed rattan coils in the manner of Vivai Del Sud. Both planters retain their original, smooth-rolling brass-capped swivel casters, making it effortless to reorient or move heavy potted plants without scratching your floors. The natural rattan has aged beautifully over decades, showcasing an authentic, warm golden patina. Very good vintage condition. The wrapped pencil-reed coils are completely intact with no major breaks or unwinding. Sold as a matched pair, price is for the set.
