This chair from the edo series was designed by the japanese architect kisho kurokawa in the 1980s and was manufactured by ppm corporation, tokyo. The design concept of the edo series is based on the symbiosis of our modern living space and japanese tradition. The japanese traditional element indicates the edo culture which is recognized as an origin of the japanese tradition. It features a black lacquered wood frame and a leather upholstery.
