Danish mid century teak shelving unit, 1960s

The Danish mid-century teak shelving unit was made originally in the 1960s. Trough the renovation and upcycling we have shortened the width to 54cm and created a uniform shelving unit. Overall set size is H: 103 / W: 164 / D: 20 cm. This set is an entirely modular shelving system with nine shelves veneered in teak, hanging on solid wood rails with solid brass hangers. The wall unit can be arranged at one’s will. The shelves can be placed higher or lower, using an easy mounting system of regular slots all along the rail. This set can add a touch of a mid-century modern style to any interior. This set consists of: 9 shelves, 54cm wide, 20 cm depth, 3 wooden rails 103 cm long, Brass hardware. The unit has been fully renovated and upcycled. We cut off broken edges of longer shelves and fixed them. The wood has been cleaned stained and finished with several layers of satin lacquer. All components fit well and are fully functional. Overall, this set is in fantastic condition.
