The colored core in the Classic Val Saint Lambert shade, has been equipped with a thick Sommerso (clear crystal case) so that the object looks delicate while remaining solid and stable like a lamp foot. Twisting on the outer surface gives a mesmerizing optical effect when you pass it. And safe for immediate use worldwide Produced between 1955 and 1965, it was handcrafted from premium lead crystal by Val Saint Lambert (Belgium's leading crystal manufacturer, founded in 1826 and based near Liège.) In excellent condition and in perfect working order having recently been re-wired and equipped with a new E27 connection.
