Set of 6 plates talking in porcelain Creil & Montereau XIXth

Set of 6 small talking plates in opaque porcelain of creil and monterau, gold medals l.m. & cie, nineteenth century. The "new testament", biblical illustrations, grisaille decoration of numbered scenes and frieze outline. Diameter: 19.8 cm. Base: 10 cm. Height: 2.2 cm. Weight of each plate between 245 and 275 grams. On the back, each plate is stamped, number engraved "6" and letter "j" (one of them has only the number). On the stamp: "creil et montereau", "médailles d'or l.m.&cie, 1834.39.44 et 49", porce. Opaque. N°1 "an angel announces to the shepherd the birth of jesus christ": This plate is in good general condition. It has no weakness, no crack, no impact. Its stage décor as well as its contours are well preserved. Slight traces of yellowing on the border and back. N°2 "the flight to egypt": Structure in good condition, no impact or weakness. Aging appearance with small scattered spots on the white background of the stage set and on the back of the plate. On the contour decoration, alteration on the top at the level of the angels (a white trace) and on the right at the level of the stained glass windows. N°4 "jesus christ calms the storm": Structure in good condition. Scene and outline well preserved. Slight yellowing on the white outline of the scene. No. 8 "jesus christ makes st. Peter walk on water": Structure in good condition. Scene and outline well preserved. Small trace below the writing "new testament". N°9 "the miraculous catch": An impact on the enamel on the back of the plate, no cracking or fragility. Well-preserved decorations. Presence of surface cracks on the enamel only on the face of the plate. N°11 "jesus christ and the disciples of emmaus" Average condition, most marked base. A chip on the contour, visible on the back, no other impact, no crack. Well preserved décor but very aging enamel, cracking effect, yellowed color.
