Pretty old soup kitchen, from the creil and montereau factory, belonging to the "toledo" department, with a nice blue and pink painted decoration and clover in relief. It is always equipped with its lid and it is rare enough to emphasize it. We can also note the original shape of the handles. Thanks to the stamp below and a great website on earthenware factories, I was able to date precisely this soup bowl: it was made between 1894 and 1920. It is in good condition for a soup kitchen that is more than 100 years old! No lack or break. But she does not hide her age: many stains on the cracked enamel, a little on the outside, and much more on the inside, which are apparently due to the fat that would have become embedded in the cracks over time (it seems that we can make this disappear in a boiling milk bath, but I did not dare to test!), a crack inside the soup bowl, which seems to me to be superficial, only on the enamelling and gins. It measures about 22 cm in diameter, 27 cm wide with the handles, about 14 cm in height (lid included). It weighs about 1.4 kg.
