Gino Sarfatti Floor Lamp for Arteluce, Italy 1950

An iconic 1950s floor lamp, model “1051m”, designed by gino sarfatti and manufactured by arteluce in italy. This elegant, minimalist piece has a wonderful appeal that nicely combines colours, materials and shapes. It’s a highly recognizable find that is guaranteed to draw the attention of any design enthusiast! The yellow metal hood adds a pop of color and personality, nicely contrasting to the black lacquered metal arm. The foot is made of cream / white coloured stone, which nicely balances the piece and works really well with the other materials, allowing each element of the piece to truly stand out! The on/off switch is located on the shade for ease of use. When lit, it emits a bright upwards light. This beautiful floor lamp remains in very good, vintage condition, with minor wear that is consistent with its age and use. Structurally completely strang, no flaws, nothing that affects the use of the piece. The light is working and it wired and ready for use. The minor wear is in the shape of some small user marks, mainly at the bottom of the foot, as are represented in the photos.
