Two victorian fern boards; color woodcut from 1861 by ej lowe and w. Howard sheet dimensions: 15.5 X 25 cm ▪️from "ferns, british and exotic". Engravings on the theme of ferns are particularly sought after. The great naturalist lowe published an 8-volume work on ferns. ▪️well engraved and inked. Slightly browned on the edges. Slightly creased at the binding.
