Table set from Porcelaine de Paris, Lima decor. 8 pieces in luminous white porcelain featuring a deep blue decor with stylised and abstract geometric shapes, a graphic design reminiscent of textile or architectural design. This clean and rhythmic composition fully embodies the modernist aesthetic of the 60s-70s. The atypical shape of the plates adds an elegant and highly graphic presence. Porcelaine de Paris, a French manufacturer inheriting the 19th-century Parisian porcelain tradition, distinguished itself after the 1950s with elegant productions featuring modernist decors intended for contemporary table arts. Stamped with the two crossed arrows corresponding to post-1950 productions. The set includes one deep plate with a diameter of 27.5 cm and a height of 3.5 cm, one flat plate with a diameter of 28 cm, three flat plates with a diameter of 24.5 cm, and three deep plates with a diameter of 22 cm and a height of 3 cm. In excellent vintage condition, with beautiful porcelain shine and well-preserved decors. There is a chip on the edge of two flat plates (see photos). Perfect for a vintage graphic table in the spirit of the current revival of 70s design and minimalist table arts.
