Set of 3 (not two!) CH30 dining chairs by Hans Wegner in oak and teak with red fabric upholstery. This 1954 design is one of the results of Wegner's ongoing search for the ideal chair. The curved organic shapes and refined details make this chair a Wegner classic. He primarily worked with wood, maximizing the possibilities of the material. The shapes of the CH30 chair create a minimalist and elegant play of lines. The oval backrest tilts slightly backward and offers good back support. The shape of the rear legs tilts backward, ensuring optimal stability. The seat of the chair is relatively wide and covered with red fabric stretched over comfortable foam. The CH30P chair is designed without armrests, making it perfect for sliding under any table. The chair takes up little space and is therefore also ideal for small dining rooms. In short, a beautiful chair for long dinner evenings! The wood of this set of three has beautifully aged over time. This patina only appears after half a century of exposure to air and light, giving this chair a very warm and lively appearance. A lot of character, so to speak.
