Belgian glass modernist candy box, mcm mid century modern art deco, circa 1950

Modernist candy box made of belgian glass. Elegant candy box made in the style of 'de rupel', boom belgium. Probably another small factory in the vicinity of the river 'de rupel', the boom region. A typical decoration from the fifties to seventies with beautiful white and red lines in squares and three satin rings. The lid is in excellent condition and has two golden rings. The box itself has three small chips on the top edge. The base ring has some aging (a small fading of gold). The candy box was manufactured between 1950 and 1960. The diameter is 14cm, height 9cm, weight 430 grams. The condition is good. Photos are part of the description.
