Pair of pink marbled Clichy glass pendant lights – 1950s

Elegant and sculptural, these two blown glass pendant lights from Clichy date from the 1950s. Their flattened spiral shape is reminiscent of saucers or polished pebbles, and their marbled pink glass with opaline reflections diffuses a soft and warm light. Their unique aesthetic evokes a world that is both retro and sensual, reminiscent of the palettes and volumes dear to India Mahdavi. The pendant lights have been electrified with cream twisted cables and new brass sockets (E27). They are ready to be installed.
