Two Seater Knole Sofa in Arts And Crafts Upholstery

The knole sofa, which takes its name from a village in kent, is said to be one of the first upholstered seating furniture in england (we are talking about the 17th century). This sofa shown here was specially shipped from belgium to england by the previous owners to be upholstered. What love, what dedication. The sofa is in very good condition, and incredibly comfortable to sit in. It has a very special sitting experience because the sides are high. It gives a great feeling of security. Very cosy.
