This Berber rug comes from the Mrirt region, in the heart of the Moroccan Middle Atlas, renowned for the exceptional quality of its traditional weavings. This 200 X 290 cm model, entirely hand-knotted, is distinguished by a geometric pattern carved in relief, composed of large rectangular blocks of high wool, framed by flatter areas of tight weaving. The minimalist and symmetrical composition brings a style that is both modern and organic, in perfect harmony with contemporary, wabi-sabi or refined interiors. Everything is made of local natural wool, offering a soft, warm and extremely comfortable texture.
