Hello, I am selling a very beautiful pair of Napoleon III boudoir armchairs (upholstered chairs), from the Second Empire period, in very good condition. The chairs are upholstered in flamboyant red velvet of rare beauty. A border of long fringes descends to the floor. This lot is of rare elegance. The velvet on the back of the backrest must have been exposed to the sun for too long, perhaps behind a window, because it has faded on both chairs. But it is period, and in very good condition on the rest of the set, so we did not want to change it. One of the two has a slight hole, perhaps from cigarette ash, a very long time ago.
