Pastel painting, family beach scene in Normandy signed Henri Reiter.

Superb painting representing a family on the beach. It is a pastel on paper signed Henri Reiter (born in 1938), A composition imbued with charm in a soft light. A family scene, somewhere on a beach in Normandy... A moment of life frozen, as gentle as the air. Refined art framing in patinated gilded wood, with a slightly mauve pastel fabric mount. A small clarification: the white lines are not reflections as they are beach masts for hanging different flags depending on the sea conditions. Dimensions: Pastel: 36 X 26 cm. Framed: 57 X 48 cm. An artist active in the 20th century, Henri Reiter has seen his works regularly auctioned, notably seascapes, landscapes, and scenes of life in Normandy.
