Baccarat molded cup bread plate

This lovely little plate is an old creation from a lorraine baccarat or portieux-vallerysthal factory. It is a molded glass bread plate or saucer. The decoration is in deep intaglio, representing arabesques and ferns. We find richly decorated pieces in the common catalogs of “baccarat saint-louis” from the end of the 19th century. Or “portieux vallerysthal” from the 1900s-1920s. In very good condition; it measures 14.3 cm in diameter.
