H. Becquet Quaregnon vase in the mastery style with birds of paradise decoration

Glazed earthenware vase made by the Hubert Becquet factory in. Period of art earthenware between 1956-76. (label hb Quaregnon ceramic art.) Vase with lid in the mastery style with a decoration of birds of paradise, with great work of form and relief, as well as enameling. Complex molded and hollowed shape, with withdrawal in the mass in sgraffito. Plant and feather motifs. Presence of two tropical birds made with a brush. Very colorful. Also presence of volutes. Gilding underlines the shape in the form of nets and on the reliefs. Height 40 cm X 20 cm diameter at the widest. Very good condition see photos. Decoration and shape very rare at Becquet. Not signed mastery, only ceramic art hb quaregnon, but is in the taste of this production.
