Restored storage cabinet

I propose to the adoption a nice little storage cabinet with a vintage look restored and beautiful by me in the workshop! it's a fairly light light light wooden cabinet with 2 doors and 4 shelves. I restored and sublimated it with love to give it a new chance to be adopted. I wanted to give it a shabby, farmhouse or chic countryside to make it more elegant which suits it to delight and changes its appearance! She deserved the poor girl! Indeed, before spending several years in the bottom of the garage, from where I saved her, she had to be in a child's room where she suffered a lot! How I know. The candies completely melted and glued inside as well as the shelves that had served drawing boards and sheets to play the small bin I think! A good cleaning and sanding stroke were necessary as well as the planing of the shelves to be able to remove the drawings! It is old white (antique white) and paloma (mole) of the brand annie sloan worked in a patinated and melted way, I applied in finish an extra matte varnish. I left the shelves raw after sanding, the handles are original (by the way you can notice in one of the photos that a handle is broken but so pretty that I left them!) and I added 2 magnets to keep the doors perfectly closed. I applied gold wax to the leaf-shaped patterns at the top of the cabinet and at the bottom of the doors. Please take into account that even refurbished furniture that I propose retain certain marks and traces of wear that make their charm. Don't expect smooth furniture without asperities but character furniture proud to be able to shine again! 😉.
