Splendid and very rare extendable dining table circa 1970. Italian design table, inspired by art deco but completely in the hollywood regency style of this era, in particular the taste of the productions of the emblematic designer willy rizzo. Model with a superb configuration with a central base composed of a cross-shaped polished aluminum shaft resting on a carrara marble base veined in tones from cream to brown and supporting a magnificent varnished rio rosewood top which opens to display a butterfly extension from the same wood. Closed, the top measures 117 cm in diameter, 171.5 cm wide and 117 cm deep with extension, 2 cm thick. The table is 75.5 cm high with a 7 cm headband. The base finally measures 57 cm in diameter and 3 cm thick (presence of 4 wooden pads). The table is in perfect condition (no chips to the marble, no scratches to the aluminum and the top, we will just note a micro-chip of the varnish at the hinge of the extension without affecting the aesthetics, see last photo. It's this is a very high quality table presented to you. It will easily accommodate 6 and up to 8 guests in absolute chic. It will bring crazy class to your dining area, whether the decor is ultra modern or. More classic. A piece not to be missed!!!.
