Mid century retro Danish style Avalon teak sideboard cupboard cabinet buffet

Stunning danish style teak compact sideboard from avalon circa 70s. This is an unusual piece of furniture that incorporates a number of interesting design features from the period. This is a multi-use cabinet that is not easy to categorise, it is small enough to be a sideboard while it is high enough to be a high-board. The two cupboards doors open a push in mechanism which is quite rare and generally only found on danish furniture. The the lower section of the unit is clever as it does not obscure the drawers, this means that you can use the cutlery from cutlery draw without having to close the unit up. The unit is in excellent condition, has been sanded and oiled (danish oil) giving to the piece a second life. Still will show some little marks as any you might expect on any vintage piece.
