Mid-century ceramic bird dish, hand-painted French Uzes art pottery signed A Rochat

A vintage French ceramic wall plaque dating from the middle of the century. It was created in the art pottery workshop of the artist A Rochat in the town of Uzes in Provence which is renowned for its ceramic production. The plaque was hand-painted with a charming image of a large exotic bird. It has been painted in bright tones and features a classic black border bordered. The underside was signed by the ceramic artist. Size: 9.5" in diameter (24 cm). Condition: The mid-century art pottery plate is in very good condition with light wear, including crazy fine glaze. There are no fleas, cracks or restoration.
