Pair of gilded bronze candlesticks

Interesting pair of gilded bronze candlesticks from the late 18th century with the gadroons often used under royalty and the foot as well as the body ring rather from the Directoire period... They have small restorations and very slight dents... Each has a period crack at the base... Otherwise these are large models: 27.5 high, and heavy: 1774 grams per pair.
