Rustic French antique dining table, drop-leaf table in cherry wood, circa 1900.

Antique French dining table with drop leaves dating from around 1900. The top is made of cherry wood and the legs are beech, featuring a simple rustic design. The top has two hinged drop leaves that can be folded down on either side. When fully opened, the table forms a round surface with a diameter of 110 cm. When both sides are folded down, the depth is reduced to 60 cm. The cherry wood has a warm natural colour with visible grain, marks, and variations consistent with age and use. The carpentry has been fully restored and finished with traditional wax. Origin: France. Period: circa 1900. Material: cherry wood top, beech legs. Style: rustic/French country.
