Teak coffee table with drawer. Scandinavian production, 1960s. Scandinavian coffee table produced during the 1960s. The rectangular top is supported by an open frame in which the uprights and stretchers create a restrained structural grid, leaving the volume of the piece clearly legible. The drawer, suspended beneath the top without interrupting the continuity of the frame, appears to float between the legs and is fitted with a recessed oval pull carved directly into the front. The square-section legs continue uninterrupted to the floor, while the longitudinal and transverse stretchers provide rigidity without adding visual weight. The character of the table lies in the precision with which every element is proportioned and assembled, relying solely on the craftsmanship of the teak. Good condition.
