Pair of antique Murano glass wall sconces, iridescent crystal sconces, Barovier & Toso, 1920s ca Italian

These old wall lights have been delicately cleaned while respecting the patina of age. Recently rewired and grounded, pat tested by an electrician and ready to install. Each includes the following new components: a gold silk cable and e14 candle holders with card covers. New decorative candle bulbs included. These lights can be used with a dimmer. It is possible to use these wall lights in other countries although it may be necessary to purchase different bulbs suitable for the local electricity. Pair of antique Italian quality Murano glass crystal sconces, probably produced by Barovier & Toso between the 1920s and 1940s with their characteristic iridescent finish. Handcrafted with great attention to detail with a diversity of glass and crystal components, all typical signs of quality from the famous Italian murano glass manufacturer. Each wall light carries 15 droplets of iridescent crystal: 2 large "maple leaf" pendants (arm), 2 medium "pineapple" pendants (arm), 1 medium "maple leaf" pendant (central arm), 10 small "pineapple" pendants (central arm), maple leaf" (bobèches). ). Above each bobeche is the new candle lamp holder, covered with a new cream card candle tube. Each wall light is equipped with 2 small standard screw bulbs (e14) up to 60 watts. Fitted with new decorative clear flame tip Philips LED candle dimmable 25 watt warm white bulbs. These are included in the price. Good condition for their age. The antique patina has been preserved on the metal. The frames are sound. The gold finish is in good condition with tiny minor marks and rubbing. All original antique crystals are present and in good condition. Two of the ten small maple leaf pendant crystals around the bobeches are medium sized (instead of small), probably a replacement. Minor surface marks on the clear crystals, and some tiny chips, nibbles and rubbing on some of the iridescent droplets (up to about 1/3 of them). A clear crystal backbobeche has a small chip on the trim.
