Brutalist table lamp from the 1970s, carved from a single block of limestone, in the style of Albert Tormos. Unmarked. The very heavy base tapers towards the socket. Two spheres are carved on two adjacent faces, and one corner of the base features a concave cutout of original design. The stone is left raw, showcasing its chisel marks and small fragments of shells. Original lampshade, tall and angular, made of thick knitted mesh (probably wool), in greige, ecru, and chocolate tones. When lit, the lamp emits a warm light that highlights the texture of the stone. Wiring has been completely redone: 285 cm twisted greige textile cord, white switch and plug. Original brass socket (B22) retained; its tightening ring is a bit stiff to turn but holds the lampshade securely. Very good overall condition, with no chips. Underside fitted with three felt pads. Dimensions: W. 35 cm x H. 97 cm. Lampshade: W. 35 cm x H. 65 cm. Base: W. 17 cm x D. 20 cm x H. 40.5 cm approximately (carved stone, slightly irregular dimensions).
