Large Cracked Turquoise Earthenware Lamp Base

Period: ca. 2nd half 20th century a lamp base with a superb turquoise color. The shape and cracked appearance are a nod to ancient chinese style. The exterior glaze has micro cracks, and the noticeable dark lines have been applied under the clear glaze to give an antique crackle effect. The plug has a type c plug (2 pin without ground) and is currently suitable for european voltage (230 volts - 50 hz). The lamp works. Note: colors/shades may vary somewhat; representation depends on lighting conditions, background, screen resolution, etc. In particular, blues/turquoises are difficult to photograph. The turquoise of this lamp is a typical turquoise color. Condition: very good. Dimensions: 36 cm high with socket, 16 cm at widest, 1.4 kg.
