Magnificent low buffet made of split bamboo and rattan. It features two front doors and two removable but non-adjustable interior shelves. Attributed to Adrien Audoux & Frida Minet, it draws inspiration from the aesthetic of the legendary duo who revolutionised rattan furniture design in the 1960s. A very trendy piece that reflects the significant influence of these two French masters who elevated rattan to the status of a noble design material. This buffet perfectly illustrates the spirit of the era, combining traditional craftsmanship with aesthetic modernity to create pieces with timeless charm. The duo's recognisable style has inspired a whole generation of artisans who have perpetuated their techniques of excellence. The black wrought iron hinges and fittings provide a beautiful contrast to the blonde and natural colour of the bamboo. In very good condition, with a lovely original patina, it is fully functional. Well-built, stable, and very clean. The legs, in a reinterpreted compass shape, are fitted with non-slip black rubber pads. It will integrate perfectly with wabi-sabi, bohemian, country, or mid-century decor.
