This fine wool area rug is a traditional flat woven soumak rug woven by hand in afghanistan in the early 2000s. The piece is brand new and is in excellent condition. The central design has been woven in a rich red field with two large medallions that feature intricate detail and an array of accent colours including, brown, yellow, ivory and green. The delicate symbols and design woven into this soumak rug make it the perfect accent accessory for any modern or traditional home. Suitable for use as a bedroom, living room, dining room or kitchen rug.
