Oil on panel of a sunset landscape circa 1910

Beautiful oil on wood panel depicting a view of a lake at sunset, dating from the 1910s. The painting is signed at the bottom left but is difficult to decipher: perhaps "Cassioni" or "Cassiglia". It is a completely hypnotic landscape: the work is remarkable, rich in shades of colour. The touches of orange, green, and blue immerse us in a landscape of great serenity. It is sunset, and the painter wanted to capture that moment when nature sweeps us away in its beauty! And he perfectly succeeds in transporting us! On the back of the painting, there is a handwritten inscription about the painter: "exhibited in Saint Etienne at the arts of Forez". In its original state, it should be noted: the panel has been manually cut and the top is not straight. Signs of age and wear on the edges. Please keep in mind that this is an old painting; it may have signs of age and imperfections that make it a unique piece with a story! Thank you for carefully looking at the photos in detail, they are part of the product description! Dimensions: 34 cm long / 26 cm high. Weight: 280 grams. This painting will be magnificent in an old or more contemporary living room, or in a bedroom! It will bring an authentic touch to your interior decoration!
