Fernando Cassetta Penguin lamp "Simcha"

Beautiful lamp designed by fernando cassetta in the 60s/70s. Manufacturer: tacman manara, pastrengo, verona, italy (the lamp is marked inside the spout) The penguin's body is made of opaline glass with a diamond black decoration. The feet are made of black plastic. The head is made of red/orange plastic with beige/black plastic eyes. Height: 20 cm. Base: 12 X 7 cm. Electricity: 1 e14 bulb, 1 X 40 watt maximum, 110/220 volt. This lamp is part of a series of lamps published by tacman: a dog, a mouse, a toucan, a bear and the penguin. The beak of the penguin has been slightly deformed (lower edge of the beak) and discolored (probably because of the heat...). This penguin model with glass body is quite rare (in total, only 1220 lamps with glass body were produced).
