Mid-century Danish coffee table in solid teak by Magnus Olesen, 1960s.

Minimalist teak coffee table made by the Danish manufacturer Magnus Olesen in the 1960s. A very straight design with simple cylindrical legs that extend from the surface of the table. The legs are connected to a frame with straight bars. The tabletop rests freely and is secured only at the ends in the corners and the drilled legs, allowing the tabletop to be used on both sides. The top is made up of individual solid wood elements with elaborate wood joinery, giving the surface a rich texture. Despite the solid wood, the top has surprisingly low resistance.
