This vintage top sideboard was designed by Louis van Teeffelen for WéBé in the 1960s. This strikingly designed sideboard has two doors on the left side and a bar with mirror in the middle. Aloysius (Louis) Allegonda van Teeffelen (1921-1972) was a Dutch industrial designer known for his contribution to the mid-century modern design movement in the Netherlands. He is best known for his work with the Dutch furniture manufacturer WéBé. As a designer for his hometown-based Webe, Van Teeffelen introduced a classic mid-century Scandinavian aesthetic. Although WéBé no longer exists, Van Teeffelen's creations are considered excellent examples of mid-century modern design and are now highly sought after by collectors.
