Neoclassical mirror with Louis XVI period mercury eagle decoration

Classic mirror from the louis XVI period at the end of the 18th century. It is divided into 2 distinct parts, an upper part the pediment and a bass main one enshrining the mirror. The finely openwork pediment is carved and decorated in the central part with an eagle. The eagle has its head turned to the left. On each side of the eagle, there are scrolls, flower and pine cone. Lack of gilding on the pediment. The mirror is mercury. Set dimension: 88cm X 52cm. Dimension of the mirror itself: 50, 5cm X 40cm.
