Farmhouse table and benches – Louis-Philippe style – Pitch pine

Farmhouse set from the Louis-Philippe era, consisting of a large rectangular table and its two matching benches, all made of solid pitch pine. The tabletop is made of assembled pitch pine boards, resting on eight turned baluster legs with balls, connected by a belt featuring two drawers with turned wooden knobs and metal keyholes. The two benches share the same decorative vocabulary with identical turned legs, ensuring overall coherence. The pitch pine has a golden honey hue with pronounced grain and a uniform old patina. The tabletop shows significant signs of wear from use: scratches, scuffs, and splashes, indicative of authentic and intensive use. Height under the apron: 60 cm. All restorations possible by the seller's workshops. Table dimensions: H. 78 cm – L. 277 cm – D. 91 cm. Total weight: 120 kg. Delivery to be arranged upon quotation due to weight.
