Louis Philippe style mirror 101x74cm

This medium-sized wooden and gilded stucco mirror is a very beautiful decorative piece. Old, it certainly dates from the end of the 19th century. Its characteristic shape, rounded in its upper part, is called Louis Philippe. Its frame has mixed ornamentation and its mirror is highlighted with a frieze of a pearl necklace. The frame is completely restored while respecting the patinas of the past; mixture of gold and bronze gilding mainly, with shades of red. The mercury mirror is in its original state, some traces can be observed, particularly in the middle, see photographic montage. Also some small scratches are present, but so light that they are invisible in photography.
