Oblong planter in glazed and ornamented porcelain, accompanied by gilded bronze. On an iridescent sky blue hue, we find a framed landscape. This one represents mountains with in the foreground fir trees and a shed. Around, twigs and delicate flowers, of a midnight blue color, highlighted with gold borders, decorate this refined planter. At the top, a slightly upside-down openwork bronze collar is complemented by stylized handles. The whole rests on a chiseled bronze base accompanied by four volute feet representing the heads of lions. Bright and rich by its painted and sculpted decorations, this shimmering planter will easily find a place in your interior. ******* Period: late nineteenth century. Excellent condition.
