Vintage 3-bulb space age chandelier in aluminium

This vintage three-arm suspension light features curved sheet metal lampshades, resembling metallic ribbons coiled around themselves, in a play of volumes very characteristic of the "space age" design of the 1970s. The central chrome rod, topped with a cylindrical body, distributes three identical arms, each ending in a brushed metal socket, which is itself wrapped in a "shell" of bent steel with free and asymmetrical cutouts. The effect is spectacular: depending on the angle of view, the piece evokes a mechanical flower, a propeller, or a kinetic sculpture — a true conversation piece that structures a room on its own. Note: the metal is generally in good condition with patina and normal micro-scratches from use on the brushed surfaces; original old electrical system.
